– The business is 50% roofing and 50% remodeling. The remodeling side has no insurance work involved. The roofing side will eventually be 50% retail and 50% insurance in the near future. Right now its 90% insurance 10% retail.
– 900,000 in sales through March 2026. $300,000 ahead of last year so far
– $800,000 in backlog, conservatively, as of the beginning of May
– One owner is staying on and wants someone with knowledge in the space to help grow the business. He will roll equity and stay on to focus mainly on sales. There is plenty of business that comes to them but he has a lot on his plate. The other owner will also stay on and focus mainly on sales and get paid commission only. Other owner wants to keep his salary at $13,000 a month.
– Owners are flexible with how to structure the deal
– Business is preapproved at $2,500,000 with SBA only because 2025 was down some in net profit but there is a good reason for that which can be explained. See yearly numbers below. Would prefer to use my lender, if possible.
– 2026 will be similar or above the numbers the business was doing from 2022-2024. Over $4,000,000 in revenue.
